Poetry: My soul

by Faron

Created on: November 19, 2008   Last Updated: May 15, 2012

Distraught with loss and love
Hanging on a thin balance
Of sanity and desperation
Crushed thin with unanticipated expectations
Lost from it's own purpose
It drags through the day chained to my back
The weight of life braking its wings
Portraying all it's injustices
Trapped forever by the many choices
Love it does with every once
Lost it is in dizzy disturbance
Rest on my shoulders it shall
Until life lets it heal
So that once again it may fly
Free from disarray
