Three Internet browsers? There's more than three.
Lynx is probably the fastest, since it's Unix/Linux based and therefore usually on fast servers. Plus it doesn't load images or multimedia, so it doesn't have to wait for those large files to download. It doesn't involve a lot of complex processing to display a page either, since it's all text.
But Lynx is not for most people and certainly isn't for all occasions. My preferred PC-based graphical browser is Opera. I've been using it for years and it's always been much faster than other browsers. It's very customizable, so you can speed it up even more. Browse with images off and it's generally very quick. Open multiple tabs to have slow-loading pages loading in the background while you visit another site.
Clean out your cookies frequently and keep your bookmarks few and it'll keep your speed in mint condition.
Plus you can put in your own search boxes, so instead of going to Google, Dictionary.com, IMDB, or any search page of your choice, and then typing in your search, you can directly type in your search and bypass the homepage. Saves loads of time, especially on slower connections.
The short answer is: Opera.
