The Forest Creature
Twilight, my perfect time to play, what
A perfect ending, to an almost perfect day.
The forest is my home, but I do not live alone.
"Don't stray to far," I've always been told,
Night after night, and it's getting old.
Why should I not wander about free? I'm a
Creature of the forest, no harm will come to me.
I started walking, first one step, then two,
I had went to far, before I knew.
A man stood tall, against the forest trees,
Why was he there? What did he seek?
His expression was painful, a frown he had,
Standing there, he looked so sad.
My heart so gentle, pure, and full of love,
Felt the pain of his heartache, as he looked
Towards the skys above. How could I help this
Man so near? Only in the forest, I held no fear.
I gathered my courage, to soothe his soul,
And a voice inside me, said,"No, no, no,
Don't leave the forest, don't leave your home,
So much could happen, with you all alone."
I ignored the voice, and approached this sad man.
I reached for him, and he took my hand.
The touch was tender, yet I felt the flames within
What was happening to me? To describe, I couldn't
Begin.
A kiss so soft, so gentle and pure, was that what he needed? Was that
the cure?I made him smile,I
Should return home, but something held me, I
Didn't want to be alone.
I have never felt these feelings before, only I
Heard tales, in our folklore. He took me in his
Arms, and it was then, that I was captured by his
Charm. Another kiss, and he wouldn't let go,
I remembered the tales of humans, taking our souls.
Was this what he was after, did he want to steal my soul? Of my heart,
did he want complete control
Fear ran through me, as I thought of my home, but
There, I was always alone.
I stayed with him, well into the night, and made
My way home, at dawns first light.I still dream of that night past, and wondered if I had stayed
Forever would it last.
He came to the forest, searching for me,and though
That night I loved, we weren't meant to be. I miss
Him, and think of his touch, but a creature, such
As I, can find no love

Once born never free
until the spirit flees
earthly bonds that hold us tight
to guard against our spirits flight.

Bohemian Rhapsody
Warm, wet, and spongy
Onyx rich between her toes.
Scent of rain, heavy,
Real, earthy in her nose.
Float
Soft and gentle as a mothers touch
The air holds us aloft
Two feathers floating
Weightless never awaiting you come to
little joy so free
so spry and upbeat and no cares in this world
except whether or not a ladybug will fly away home
on request
