Taken by the hand in a world still lost,
Locked away a memory like a winters cold frost.
Look toward the sky, a star lights the way.
A child now grown but only her face seemed to change.
She still dreams of the moon and fairys that fly,
Sees faces in trees and flowers so shy.
She still walks in the woods, hear the leave crunch under feet.
Smell the air as she goes a few moments of peace.
A rusteling sound that has followed her in,a chipmunk in the leaves watching her watching it.
She sits on the rock at the edge of the river, stares quielty at the otter that came to sit with her.
The watches the river carry stresses away, the simplicity of nature on a beautiful day.
A few single snow flakes that gently float by, They land and dissapear in front of her eyes.
The cool crisp temperature of a near winters day, the silence is golden that invites her to stay.
Five acres alone that feel like much more, A tunnel of trees a path to her lost world
The branches that sway as she enters the path, the voices still calling don't leave stay come back.
She leaves the path to a world open wide her escape from reality awaits till next time
