When I was ten, I received a box of "chemistry" stuff from a neighbor lady whose husband had recently passed away.

She knew that I was interested in science. My "mommie" "confiscated" most everything, (without my knowledge), however there remained some papers. One set contained detail plans how to increase power and fuel efficient in combustion engine driven automobiles.

A "battery" filled with water, with an anode on one end and a cathode on the other end would produce Oxygen and Hydrogen respectively via electrolysis. The Hydrogen could be fed back into the carburetor to add fuel. (The word "Carburetor" is derived from the word "carbon", since all "fuel" is a carbohydrate. However it is the Hydrogen that actually burns, (Oxidizes). Since in physics, one cannot get something for nothing, the "energy" that would be required to produced the necessary "power" to generate the Hydrogen would be derived from a over-sized generator. (The Alternator had yet to be invented). This generator would "kick" in when one wanted to slow/stop said vehicle, therefore producing the necessary electricity to the Water "battery".

I wonder if this is the "Hybrid"?

I might add here, notwithstanding that the internal combustion engine is an antique piece of junk, (It takes most of the fuel, "energy", just to move the internal parts before any force is transmitted to the wheels), according to "Woody's" law.

"One may also notice, (in the following articles), that there was a lot of thought and changes in improvement. However, most of the participants are deceased; there is no limit to what improvements/changes that may have been made. Mater of fact, the combustion engine is an antique piece of junk, rather it be gasoline or Diesel"! The main connection between them and me is that we THINK!

Once the vehicle has attended the desired speed, said vehicle could be propelled by a small electric motor. The fuel consuming main engine, (internal combustion), would be first disengaged so the vehicle could "coast".

I propose that by June 30th 2010, that all new vehicles sold in California, shall NOT use any Fossil fuel!
