The best tip I can give you for going back to school at an older age is not to listen to well intentioned family members and friends when they tell you not to or you're too old to be going back to school. There are many reasons why an older person may choose to take this route in life and I don't think it is anyone's concern why they are choosing to do this except for their own. If they feel that they are able to accomplish this, then I say go for it and good luck!

There are a few obstacles that may get in the way, but life is a challenge and this experience should be looked on as another challenge that needs to be faced. Most of the time when people decide to go back to school, this decision was not made lightly and the person has weighed all the pros and cons. So, friends and family should support them in any way they can.

Be prepared for some long nights, be prepared to having to jump a few hurdles, don't be afraid to ask for help, but most importantly believe in yourself. If you feel you can achieve this goal, then go for it!
