A voice asked: "Do you have a plan ?"
"I believe I do", I began...
"Indeed, explain it then... if you can!"

Yesterday, I saw hunger crying
It filled a photo and my eyes
Wanted to look away... quite unwise!
I shrugged my shoulders wondering...

What am I doing to save the world?
How can I make a difference?

Today, I remember the photo,
Shocked and outraged it even exists

I can't understand how this persists
In a world that evolved long ago...

Truthfully I do not know... Do you?
But then I thought about those who care...
Who does give it a single thought? Do you?
Who does take action and fight despair?

Often I feel so powerless,
But it's not about me or you ...
Is it. One must help the helpless,
One can't go on saying "if I knew".

Do you know what I mean? Do you?

I can't change the world... on my own!
I can take back my lost powers,
I can join my voice to others...
As "ONE" we're heard and known.

I did joined my voice to "ONE",
I spread the word then signed my name...
Now I hope that what we have done
Will echo loud, like a running flame!

I am no star out in the world,
But I am one in my own home...

I do not sell millions of books,
Do not attract millions of looks,
But I do bring one more voice, do you?

What do I do to save the world?
How do I make a difference?
How do I care against misery?
I keep faith in mankind and write;
Do you?
