Definitions of hell

Hell is not simply the place where those who are by definition, "bad", go when they die. Hell is the second death, the spiritual death. Hell is not simply a pety punishment for those who fail to follow the Ten Commandmants, but is a place for those who committed the one unforgiveable sin, blaspemy against the spirit of God, meaning that upon death they still had not accepted Christ as the savior.

Hell is eternal separation from God. God is the being of perfection and ultimate purity. Hell, and Satan therefore, would be the opposite. According to the scriptures, those in Hell understand what it is that they are missing. They can understand as never before, who and what God is, yet know they can never, ever come close to feeling even the smallest of a Godly characteristics or experience.

Whatever Hell is, it stands to reason that it would be the physical place of all evil. Therefore, there would be no love, even in the smallest degree. No compassion, patience, or justice. All Godly characteristics that humans enjoy to a small degree on earth, would be completely void in this eternal damnation.
