When I'm alone at night...
I whisper his name.
Just saying it,
Makes me feel not quite as alone.

I'm in love with him,
And the world will never be the same,
Until i am once again graced by his presence.
But he's not here...

Tainted lies i tell myself,
That he too, whispers my name,
In that dark abyss
Of night after night.

I long for his touch,
Yearn for him to keep me from going lame,
But a lonely threat tells me,
I'm in love with a lie...

I cry so harsh into the night,
I never was good at this game,
I'm still in love with him,
But... he's in love with himself, too.
