Wake up every day.
Confronted by my past
as I look at my scars in the mirror,
Still trying to figure out why I act the way I
do.
Stick the needle in my arm just to
get me through the journey of
this day.
It just keeps getting harder
and harder to keep myself
straight.
Have another drink from the bottle
that's almost empty
just like my wasted life.
All the pain I caused and I
cannot repay with the goodness
that is owed.
Try to go to sleep at night
and try to shake this hurt.
I guess it's what I deserve.
