Fast track to weight loss: How to lose weight in a hurry

Being fat and having weight loss concerns has never been a factor for me. It's something I have never had to really think or worry about.
I am a skinny women and always have been. I've had 6 pregnancies and 4 nine-pound babies, my youngest just turned 2. I work a full time job outside my home. I wear a women's size 4, juniors size 2.

By all accounts and statistics, I probably should be an obese women - I do not exercise, I eat whatever I want, I sleep as much as I can (at least 12 hours/day); I eat late at night and I always take a nap immediately after I eat lunch, at times I can be very lazy and I love dark chocolate. So why am I skinny? I think I have a four part answer to that:


No. 1 - I believe that weight loss is not an issue for me simply because I've never made it an issue. It's not something I need to think or worry about. All of my girlfriends are ALWAYS dieting and every action or decision they make is connected to their diet. The "diet" comes up in every conversation as commonly as the words AND and THE. It is the same for all of my friends. It's like an obsession and they have a one-track mind. If one of them looses weight, their diet is still a major factor in their thoughts and actions, as they don't want the weight back. It comes back then they are on to the next diet fad. Always on the brain. The point here is you have to STOP always worrying and thinking about your weight. It's not that important to always think about. If you don't clear your brain of these "fat" thoughts, you will never loose the weight. You are programming your brain with the fact that you are fat and it directly impacts your body. My advice is everytime you look at yourself in the mirror, tell yourself that you are NOT fat. Tell yourself that you are beautiful and skinny - EVERYTIME you look in the mirror - it's mind over matter. Tell yourself good things!

No 2 - You must immediately stop eating all fast foods, convenience foods and microwavable foods and especially foods labled "diet"! Now, I'm not saying that I've never eaten these foods because I have. My children do get treated to McDonalds every now and then, but it's very few and far in between. Sometimes I do put Mac and Cheese in the microwave or will buy a packaged dinner type. But again, it's very rare - why? It's only because I simply don't like the taste of these foods and I don't like the ingredients. I cook most of our meals every day and I think it's much healthier, more nutritious
