Elephants are happy pachyderms,
waving their trunks in the air.
But, when they roll their trunks up,
proceed with caution and care.
You and I were happy once,
reaching for the skies.
Then gloom set in, when you began

When you profess undying love,
lamenting your regret.
how can I forgive, when well I know,
some elephants I won't forget.
