Who wants to be called a "momma's boy"? This not only degrades the individual, but it degrades how the mother raised the child. Keeping a close relationship with one's child is important, however, there is a fine line. The child may become too attached to the mother and become completely dependent. Being called a "momma's boy" isolates the individual from the population. Nobody wants to hang out with a boy who is dependent on their mother. Those who keep their distance from being called a momma's boy are independent and can do things on their own.

Being a momma's boy does not allow a person to experience independence. This is not only a problem for the boy but for the mother. The mother would be taking care of her boy all the time and giving him affection which he does not receive from anyone else. Who gives care to a momma's boy? The mother needs to be able to let go of her child and let him experience the real world. Life is easy in the arms of a mother. However, surviving the real world is impossible for a momma's boy. Always cuddled up, they will never go through any life experiences. Although they will be safe in their mother's arms, they will lack all sorts of social aspects.

Social life depends on the activity of the person. However, being a momma's boy does not allow him to be active in any kind of social activities. He will be tied to his mother and will not experience any sorts of activities with friends. Even friends will be hard to have if he is a momma's boy. Growing up as a momma's boy may feel good, receiving all the love, but once he is grown up, he will realize that independence is a necessity and keeping his distance away from being a momma's boy is crucial.

So don't be a momma's boy and go out and experience the real world. There is so much to do out of the arms of the mother. Even through danger and risks, living independently will allow one to grow social experience and live a better life. A momma's boy is nobody's favorite friend.

So keep away from momma's boys, because being close to one will also ruin one's life. One will find himself acting in ways to help out the momma's boy and such. Be independent of momma's boys because of what a momma's boy is, which was described above. Go out and find friends who have the same interests with one self. Living a social life is very important and staying away from momma's boys will give you an advantage. So keep your distance from them and have fun!
