Do you have worries about a slow economy? Mystery shopping is an option you might want to consider. Why? Even in a slow economy mystery shoppers still make money at home, significant money. Mystery shoppers make get to work for themselves as opposed to working for someone else. What is mystery shopping? Let's start with what it isn't. It is not a job that will make you a super gazillionaire. It isn't a normal nine to five where you are confined to one area for a specified amount of time. It isn't job that can be done completely from the comfort of home in pajamas. Some if it can be done in p.j's but most parts of a mystery shopping job are done on-site. Even though the economy is slow, companies still need evaluating. That is where a mystery shopper enters the picture.
What is mystery shopping? It is freedom. Shoppers choose which jobs they want to do and which they don't want to do. It is entertainment. Shoppers get paid to do fun tasks like eating out and watching movies. Mystery shopping is flexibility because it allows a shopper to work around his or her own schedule. It is cha-ching. Now don't get me wrong, you're not going to get rich being a mystery shopper. At least I haven't figured out how to do so. You can, however, make a comfortable living and shoppers get paid to do things that they have to do anyway. I've made as much as forty dollars per hour. If I were really organized I could probably do more.
By now you're probably wondering what are the qualifications to be a mystery shopper. If you have a full time job then obviously you can't shop someone who doesn't have one. Students, stay at home parents, and those who work part time can make excellent money as mystery shoppers. There are really no qualifications to be a mystery shopper except that people who want to be shoppers should be organized, attentive to details, and good time managers. Mystery shopping is a viable option for anyone looking to make extra money.
Mystery shoppers provide a valuable service for companies. We help companies evaluate the customer service that their establishment provides. Companies really get to see how customers see things from an average customer's point of view. The benefits provided by mystery shoppers eventually trickle down benefits to all customers because this is one way that companies know when their services are in need of improvement or if they are lacking in some way.
Mystery shoppers go incognito most of the time, but there are some companies that require
