The day I was born my life began
And I was on my way
To grow and thrive like most kids do
With each new passing day
The world is big and scary too
But I am not alone
My family's right here by my side
And will not let me go
Family is so important
Whether big or small
You can count on one another
Just give them a call
They'll be there through thick and thin
Just you wait and see
For blood related or adopted
You're still a family
Your family is a part of you
That no one can deny
Together you will live so free
Beneath the big blue sky
