Poetry: My life

by Alex Oliver

Created on: November 15, 2008

Violent Love

As he sits recalling, every scream and shout
Trying in his mixed up mind, to work the whole thing out
Not thinking that you hated him, but for such a lengthy time
You made him pay to high a price, for someone else's crime
He never asked for birth, so you could vent your rage
In your violent wicked World, with him on centre stage
Then as you systematically, tore his family life apart
Where did you think I'd hold you, within my broken heart?
