It's true,there came a time
When life was not the same
Rising everyday before the sun I did
The process of sowing a seed
I climbed mountains too high
My only potential obstacle was the sky
Tried hard my goals to achieve
And lived one day at a time
Being myself;being without shame
Inside me was no fear
Hope was my protective spear
I strived to live a life bright
Though not everything I did right
The devil oftenly pulled me down
But after every dark night there came a dawn
And it was ensured that I was not alone
'Though many times friends were gone
I believed there was a good reason
Why the real me was born
It's the reason why I always wanted to live
With hope every single day.

Poetry: A day in my life
by Lilly Mantra
Take a walk in my shoes.
Experience one day in my life.
See the anguish, the exhaustion,
The terror, the strife.
I wake up in
The Duty of a Soldier's Wife
I salute our flag
With my oven Mit
Changing diapers to the sound
Of freedom's wit
Serving my country
Proud
by Ariel Eton
Here inside this body
Lives a ME that no one knows
A ME that's hard to understand
A ME I haven't chose
To be bitter and misgiving
Is
The world on my shoulders, a smile on my face
The girl in the mirror is hard to embrace
I'm a mother of three, yet I tend
by Erin G
A day in my life
A sky of often-grey
A never-lifting cloud
An endless fall of rain
A bout of shining sun
Playing peek-a-boo
Between
