Ode to Bob
My mighty yellow feline
Ready to please
You brought me treats
of birds and mice at my feet
You would not let me work
You made me relax
You crawled on my lap
and made me warm
I rubbed your wide belly
and you purred with love
You made me feel happy
when I was sad
I know that you cared
My dear sweet Bob
I know that you're gone
Thank you so much
for loving me and my Mom
