Testimonies: Parents of a stillborn child

Stillborn babies occur more often then most of us realize, because if it is not happening to us we really do not realize how often it does occur. My first-born granddaughter is one of those stillborn babies that most people never know about. Kylieanne Elizabeth was born at thirty-one weeks after her mom my daughter was induced.

This is her story, because people need to know about stillborn babies and after five and a half years I feel I can do her story justice, and help other people who are going through something similar with another of those stillborn babies. We found out she was gone after an ultrasound was performed late on November 22, 2005 and my daughter decided to go back the next day to be induced.

She was induced early on November 23, and my granddaughter's body entered this world just before six in the morning on November 24, 2005. People often ask who come these stillborn babies are not delivered by cesarean section, and we heard this one often. We were told it gives the moms some closure, and this makes sense to me.

There have been stillborn babies through out history, but you never think it will happen to you, but sometimes it just might happen. When it does happen, you are devastated, because it just does not make sense that God would take a baby who is loved and leaves many who are abused here. I believe that everyone here one earth has a mission to perform and once we accomplish that mission our time is up.

My daughter was one of those wild children when she became pregnant at fifteen. By her fifth month, she was working and saving money, attending school where her grades were excellent, a welcome 100 change. I would like to think in our case my sweet little grand daughter was one of those angel who accomplished her mission early and was called back home. When she first became one of those stillborn babies, I did not feel that way.

I had become ordained shortly before this occurred so I was doubtful that I had made the right decision. I was pissed at God, that he would do it to us. Why does he allow stillborn babies? I could not understand how he would take a baby who was otherwise healthy and do this. I prayed for my daughter and the rest of my family that we would get through this. God forgave me, I think for getting angry. I turned to collecting angels for my granddaughter it made me feel closer to her, and perhaps she can see them from heaven.

I notice all the stillborn babies now, when they occur and make the newspaper, and I cry for those
