CHAPTER TWO OF ARYAH
There have never been happier times than a girl gettin ready for a big event in her life like a wedding. Aryah was 21 years old and ready to begin the newest chapter of her life with the man she loved. Joshua Mackintosh was the prize of the county. How would her life be? she thought. As she daydreamed of the future, a disturbing image appeared in her mind of a boy who kept appearing in her dreams. Who was this boy she constantly dreamed of and never seen? She did'nt know him from around town and no one ever spoke of him? It was curious indeed but than again Aryah had no memory of her life before two years ago, the coma had taken alot of things away from such a freespirit so full of life and adveture. For the longest time no one knew if she would live or die. Mama and Daddy stayed by her side non stop as well as all the servents, and a young boy who kept coming in and out of her mind she could never place. He spoke so sweetly to her and yet who was he? Aryah asked Mama many times who he was if she knew him but Mama always told her it was just part of the coma, that she was deleirous and maybe just dreamed him up. Mama and Daddy just could not bear to tell her the truth of that horrible night.
Aryah? Aryah? are you ok? What are you doing? It was her cousin Sable. You need to get ready! Oh my gosh whatever was I thinking? I guess I fell asleep in the warm sun. Well come on your dress is ready you need to get a bath and your hair done! Woo Hoo it's my wedding day! Aryah jumped up and climbed in the tub she sunk her head into the bath and let the bubbles cover her up. You are so silly cousin, they laughed and danced around in circles as the maid dried her off and buffed her delicate skin to a soft glowing shine. I am the luckiest girl around. She yelped and giggled with glee as she slipped on her dress. Mama came in next and tears shone in her eyes as she thanked God for giving her back her beloved only child. Aryah you look like a princess. Thankyou Mama . Arayh held open her arms and she and Mama shared a moment of tears, joy, and excitement for her new life. Mama what do you think I will be? Mama pulled back and looked in her eyes; whatever you want to be darling, whatever you want to be. Again Mama thanked God and just as Daddy came bounding in the sun sank down for the moonlit wedding waiting to start. Well look at you young lady, all ready to start a new life? Woo Hoo, I am as ready as I think Josh can be! Daddy laughed and grabbed her in his arms with a big bear hug. He too thanked God for the return of his daughter, and hid his tears. Daddy are you sniffling? No of course not, now get on my arm, we got an anxious young man down there! Aryah could not have known the many tears Daddy had cried and the endless dark nights he spent by his daughters side.
The moon light could not have been more perfect than that night as Aryah and Joshua spoke their vows, it was the beginning of their new life.
