Poetry: Betrayal

by Kelly Raso

Created on: November 15, 2008

I can't believe it

She says I'm her friend

Then she stabs me in the back

I listen to her problems with an open ear and ready heart

Then she dismisses my stories saying that they are trivial

I have so much pent-up anger I could explode

Aren't friends supposed to make you feel good?

Someone needs to tell her that because she obliviously didn't get the memo
