So, you and the love of your life are getting a place together, huh? Now is the time to spread the word..."But, we don't have a * so what are we to do? We NEED..."
And so it begins...THE AWAKENING.
So, just WHERE, and HOW, are a young, madly in love couple such as this, to simply...BEGIN?
Do we really even need to ask?
In the bedroom of course!
Oh, and the bathroom, too!
I suggest:
1) Try giving them an ALARM CLOCK...This way, they both can make it out the door, and to work, on time!
2) Towels, Towels, Towels...One can never have enough towels, so just how many towels are enough for TWO?
I suppose you'll merely have to guess at this one.
3) A "Bed in a Bag" complete bedding set. Each set generally includes:
(1 each Flat and Fitted Sheets, 2 Pillow Cases, 1 Comforter, 2 Pillow Shams, and let's not forget the Dust Ruffle)
Best of all, often times you can purchase a "Bed in a Bag" complete set for less than $100.00!
Now that's definitely what I call using your well rested head!
4) Bed Pillows, and maybe even a couple of Throw Pillows for ambiance. Don't forget a few pillar candles (just in case
we guessed WRONG and the happily romantic couple chose to pay the Gas Bill, rather than the Electric bill).
5) A Space Heater...For those times when they can't afford to pay both the Gas and the Electric bill therefore forfeiting the Gas.
(Y'all know it, because I've no doubt about it, we've all been there before!)
6) Try a Shower Curtain with a liner, and if you're really feeling generous than you may just choose to consider throwing in a Toothbrush Holder, too!
6) Everybody needs a Bathroom Scale...
Nothing damages a new relationship more than one partner gaining weight.
I assure you this is true, especially of young love.
OK, OK! Enough with the bedroom already! It's time to move on into the romantic new couples Kitchen...
New couples need everything from Dish Towels and Cloths, to Dishes, Glasses, and often times Small Kitchen Appliances as well. Whether it be a Toaster, Can Opener, Silverware, Glasses, Pots, Pans, or even something as simple as a Dish Rack and Drain Tray I assure you they will genuinely love, and appreciate your well thought out, humble gift(s).
Young couples often forget that they too, have to eat. Let it not be said that we care not for the young and naive. Just remember this one thing...The more independent this young couple is, the longer they stay out of their parent's homes!
With that...Best wishes to the happy couple!
And, as for you, well...HAPPY SHOPPING!
