I Didn't Do It
something funny happened today
it made me laugh out loud and say
the box did it I swear it did
it jumped right up and flipped its lid
crayons flew out everywhere
green and blue and pink look there
the yellow landed on the brown
the orange knocked the purple down
black and white turned into gray
the crayon box had run astray
and then the red was trapped inside
the crayon box was trying to hide
the red had fallen on the floor
the box was headed for the door
"hey! look out," I yelled, "for those dirty socks."
he didn't make it poor crayon box
