Unfathomed

Seaching searching touching reason?
Turning tossing tortured treason
In and out from months to season
History repeats within liaison

Meet you downstairs at the bar my dear
Answers to questions from yesteryear
Questions that fills the mind with fear
Never too safe for thought around here

I, you have just no time to regret
For what I meant when all was set
For what and if, and when, if I forget
Mosaics in vertigo on treadles fret

Hold out my hand like a paper cup
When in my pocket what side is up
Makes no sense for where's the drip
Nothing spills from my bottom lip

Lick my lips to make them moist
Push the buttons on the hoist
Vertigo hammers at echoed voice
Just keep going I have no choice

Rooftops with paper clip tiles
Chimney breast with spilled out files
Their gutters flow like black inkwells
TV antennas shaped to smiles

In pleasance up here in my head
With claustrophobic turned down bed
Ineffective words that's never read
The quill just floats when all is said

Another feather in a world within
Where air and matter crash and spin
And where to go or even begin
I leave to you, this dream I'm in
