Poetry: Autumn

by Ann Scott

Created on: November 13, 2008

Autumn is a lovely lady,

dressed in orange, green and red.

Showing off her finery

Before her garments will be shed.

Soon old man winter will be coming

to steal away her beauty.

Removing all her lacy charms,

He seems to think his duty.

When days are cold, and dark and gray

We'll remember Autumn's lace.

We'll wait her time to show again

Her beautiful, charm and grace.
