The second date is a treasured thing in the dating world. Many people don't get a follow-up date after the first one. The fact that the person that interests you has agreed to give you a second date is a compliment within itself.

Your second date can act as a continuance to the first date. The difference now is the ice is broken and the awkwardness is gone. Now is your chance to win the heart of the one you want to date.

There are many wonderful and fun dating activities for you to choose from. Think about the things you learned from the first date and plan accordingly. Avoid doing the same things you did the first time around. Instead, pick something that will help you learn more about your date and enjoy yourself at the same time.

Plan a picnic for two.

Win your date over by planning a simple little picnic in the park. Pack a light lunch and spread a blanket out on the ground. Sit together and enjoy a meal while you watch the nature around you. After lunch, take a walk together and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Reach out and touch nature.

There are lots of fun things that a couple can do together outdoors. Go mountain climbing, repel, bike a favorite trail, or enjoy the splendor of the outdoors while on horseback. Share a fun adventure and whether you get a third date or not, the second one will be a time neither of you will forget.

Spend the day at the beach or the lake.

There is a lot to be done when you are near a pool of water. You can surf, swim, fish, or go boating. You can even lay together in the sun or work together to make the sand castle of your dreams. End the day with a nice barefoot walk hand-in-hand through the sand.

Learn something new.

A fun way to spend time together on a second date can be by taking a class. You can learn to dance, get involved in aerobics, or study a new form of self-defense. Other fun classes will allow you to get involved with the arts, make some pottery, or construct a craft together as a souvenir of a perfect date.

Share your compassion and learn if your date has any.

A great way to learn about someone's nature deep down is to volunteer. The two of you can help out at a soup kitchen, nursing hope, or animal shelter. Offering a helping hand to those in need is a great way to spend a second date.

Do a variety of fun things together.

You can involve music by going dancing or singing karaoke. You can get competitive by playing billiards or a favorite sport together. You can even go watch a movie.

The sky is the limit when it comes to the second date ideas that you can choose. When in doubt, ask your date what they would enjoy doing. Regardless of the choice, each moment spent together is a better chance at a third date.
