You just got back from the perfect first date. Maybe it was because he surprised you with flowers, or brought you to your favorite restaurant and held your hand just the way you like it. Perhaps you are a guy and the girl you took out looked absolutely amazing and you found out you have a lot more in common with her than you previously thought. The bottom line is that your date seems to be quite interesting and you are attracted to a night number two. The only question is: what should the second date plans be?
The first thing you should do when deciding what your plans should be, is what your date likes. Whether or not your date is a guy or a girl, if you want to make another good impression, you should take your date somewhere they are comfortable (their favorite restaurant, park, movie theatre, etc.). Don't be shy to ask your date where he or she would like to go, but be ready for the response: "I don't know, you decide." If you get this response, then just simply reply: "okay, and what is your favorite place to be?" This place is where you should take your date on your second night out. If you are able go to your date's territory and still make a good impression, then the door to a more steady relationship should be wide open.
Another point to consider is when to bring up a second date. The best advice I can give for this is not on the first date. Never make plans for a second date at this time. First, it will remove all of the mystery out of your new relationship and second, you won't have any time to think of those great plans for a second date. I believe a good time to call someone after the first night out together is within two days of the date. At this time, if you have figured out a place where he or she would be very comfortable going, then you should then propose your plans for a second date.
Now you are getting ready for another amazing night, and you are worried about how to act or what to wear. Don't worry about these kinds of things. Just be yourself and dress nicely but casually. If you are a guy, pick your date up as this will make her feel extra special and will remove the awkwardness of having to find your date at your meeting spot. If you are a girl, don't worry too much about what you wear because a good guy won't care which shoes you wear or what kind of make-up you heave on, but rather about your personality and how comfortable around him you are. Lastly, you should know that following the tips in this last paragraph are more important than where you go or what you do on your date.
