Promises
I took a chance and I believed
That dreams could still come true,
It wasn't very long before
I fell in love with you.
You promised me a lifetime,
You promised me your heart,
You promised me you'd love me
To the end, right from the start.
You vowed to be my always,
Forever by my side,
You pledged that you'd be with me
Until the day you died.
Your promises were all fulfilled
They never went unbroken,
Your faithfulness, your love for me
Were never left unspoken.
You told me in so many ways
By all the things you've done
That I was all you needed
And was the only one
Who made you smile with all the joy
I brought into your life
And how you were so fortunate
To have me as your wife.
But darling, let me tell you
If truth be told, I'd say
You were the one who made me
Feel so special everyday!
I only wish of all the many
Promises you made
That you would not have had to die
And that you could have stayed.
Your promises, they've all been kept
How could I ask for more?
Very simply, if I could
I'd want to have back my 'before',
My before this had to happen
My before you had to go,
My before my life has changed
From the one I used to know.

You
My Promise To You
I close my eyes seeing visions of us enthralled in a never ending romance
The way that I have fallen in
Promise’s To You
A promise is a special thing
Not meant to be thrown about
So these words I freely give to you
To
A promise to all my children...
I can't promise you the moon, I can't promise you the sky.
I can't promise you that
REMEMBER YOUR PROMISES
I really pray, that I could see
after many years have passed,
that all be what they dreamt to be
in promises
