I would like to start by saying there are not a lot of things that President Bush is sorry for. Just because you are president of one of the most powerful nations in the world doe snot mean he is not human. I know that there are times in which he would have wished things were different, but the truth is that they are not bush reveals regrets in many different ways. Other normal human beings would try to make the transfer of power as swift as humanly possible so we can close the chapter behind us and say" that is the end of that, but the truth is that President Bush reveals that doing that would be a regret. He feels that showing solidarity with the democrats would be showing weakness and accepting defeat. It could be possible that he does not know how to deal with failure. It is clearly understood that his presidency has been a major lapse in judgement in the large scheme of things.
Never before in history has human rights been so overtly trampled over and personal freedoms placed in the back burner. The situation at Gitmo is that brings national shame to Americans worldwide. America the home that Lincoln build as the place for freedom and bringing people together it is now the place in which people look when they want to reflect on a country to avoid. Our economic situation is not any better instead of revealing regret George bush should stand up and ask what can i do to make the country better. Many of the quotes that say Bush Reveals regret, but what is he regretting that the was not able to do anything more for the country or the fact that he will be out of a job, as scary as it seems it is never over on the republican side because there are still people that share his views and his politics.
What scares me the most is that George Bush regrets that it happened under his watch but does not regret that it has ever happened and that scares me because you have been given all the tools for sucess and he was not able to protect us from an attack that was said to be on the way, what type of president were you. Im not asking you to be on the forefront in iraq i a asking the president to do whatever is possible n the scope of power that he is given to do the best job he can and he obviously did not do so. If he would have done it there would be no reason for us to be having this discussion. To be fair we need to also dicern where were his advisors that were there to do the same task, but i do not want to be considered a conspirator but the truth is that all the dominos were stacked if we did not want to see it, it was bause we did not want to
