I Have A Friend

I have a friend in Jesus,
the best that I can find.
He's always there to comfort me
and knows what's on my mind.
He knows when I am happy,
He knows when I am sad,
He walks beside me every day
through good times and the bad.
If ever there's a problem
I can't solve on my own,
I never need to worry
for I know I'm not alone.
I give it to my Jesus
and He fixes it for me,
He's always there to help
no matter what my needs may be.
I know that I can count on Him
because He loves me so...
That's why I take Him with me
everywhere I go.
No better friend I've ever had-
He takes me by the hand
And tells me what I need to hear,
"My child, I understand."
