You must also know what the cons in making money through blogging are:
(1) Blogging is quite addictive. Many times, we get carried away in our involvement by spending too much of time at the Internet, writing, researching, optimizing our earning efforts and so on. That much of time spent may fail to bring in any proportionate income. At times, we tend to even leave behind our prime, bread-winning jobs and while away our productive time in blogging.
(2) Blogging also helps in socializing with fellow writers through the blogging sites. Sometimes, this socializing, interaction with fellow writers etc, may even dirvert attention from blogging. Blogging also leads to a tendency to start "mutual appreciation societies" ("I read your blog and appreciate it; you in turn read mine and appreciate it"). Such distractions at times make us imagine as though we are really great writers whom society has so far failed to notice!
This way, we may splurge our energy unproductively and in the process, without gaining much by improved writing, we may tend to lose opportunities of making money through blogging.
