God Cares

Sometimes in the morning,
when I'm all alone with God,
I say a little prayer
and with a smile I'll gently nod.
Knowing that His presence
is just what I may need
To get me through another day
and in the end succeed
To keep in mind that there is nothing
that I cannot do
As long as He is with me,
anything I can get through.
For He, in His almighty way,
is always by my side,
Whatever life may toss at me,
through all of it He'll guide
Me on to a sweet victory-
with Him I will defeat
Anything that comes my way
or adversity I meet.
Isn't God so wonderful
to care for us this way?
Not only just a time or two
but each and every day!
