Of course God exists! Science has explained how everything got here from the big bang on, how life got started from non living matter, how in our case hydrogen atoms eventually organised into civilization building consciousness automatically, following the laws of physics for our universe, but what came before the big bang, before inflation, before time? Does one not have to resort to meta physics? What of the strangeness and Alice in Wonderland illogic, even the sense of humor of the quantum world, where counter intuitiveness prevails? It seems to me a being of colossal intellect and a sense of humor is the mind behind nature. This being seems to be a cruel brute, causing all conscious beings to suffer, but this suffering is transient and is eventually replaced by paradise for all conscious beings. Mankind is now on the verge of achieving a virtual paradise for eternity. For instance , it is my belief that the technology for immortality for biologic beings already exists, but is suppressed because of overpopulation that is growing worse. This problem is solvable. Virtual reality technology that can be accessed noninvasively with a scull cap is presently being suppressed by the resort industry. Our sensory centers can now be stimulated, and input from our senses can be suppressed by already existing technology.
There have been many religions throughout the ages. Some have one god, some have many, but almost all promise punishment for evil, reward for good, either in this life or the next. I believe this logic is flawed. None of us can help our behavior. Our genes and our lifelong envionment, and the quantum state of the atoms in our brains deturmine the decisions we make at any given time. Punishment or reward serve solely to modify our behavior, by providing new stimuli, either by threats or promise. We are all without sin, brothers and sisters plighted against an unpleasant reality, but one that soon will become much better. There are without doubt creul deities that also exist, either since forever or they themselves evolved in our universe according to its laws of physics, but none so intelligent, so kind, so astute as our king of eturnity! Research has shown that jailbirds have paucity of intellect, and if one's IQ is high enough and one has the correct database, one is always kind and gracious. So it is with the One most high. he has a grand plan for all conscious beings.
Mankind will soon have the power to combine all conscious beings into one, large mind, living in a paradise for eternity, the pains of the past but a fading memory, and the joy of the near future all the sweeter for it.
Who but a colossally high form of being, a real class Deity, could plan such an eventuality out of shear benevolence?
