Recipes: Beef stock

My beef stock is quick and easy to make, there's no beef bones or hard work involved. I made this recipe when I owned my restaurant and ran short on beef soup one night, in panic to replenish the soup of the day this recipe was a life saver and I have used it ever since for my soups, stews and any other food that requires a beef base.

Ingredients

8 cups of water 2 Tablespoons of beef base or 6 bullion cubes (low sodium is best)

Bring to a rapid boil and simmer stirring often for 10 minutes be sure the base or cubes have completely dissolved, you will be left with 6 cups of beef stock.

It doesn't get any easier than this and the stock tastes just as good as if you spent hours in the kitchen cracking beef bones and picking the meat off.
