Now here is a subject that is on the minds of 90% of the adult population of our country. Of course, we must also include some teenagers in this group.

On TV, magazines and movies, we are constantly confronted with photos of men and women whom we are told, symbolize the perfect shapes that we should strive to emulate. Now some of us are capable, by hard work and dieting, to come close to those desirable types of beauty.

On the other hand, there are those of us who have become overweight because of age, size and genetics. We realize that we will never look like those beautiful models. However, do not despair, we too, are capable of reshaping ourselves to an incredibly satisfying form and figure.

Every day on all the media. We are presented with programs, machines and courses, which we are assured will help us to lose those unsightly bulges. We know that some of these systems really are effective.

However, these curriculums have the disadvantage of requiring a layout of cash and are accomplished by dieting accompanied by exhausting exercise.

If your health is good, and you are capable of doing strenuous workouts, this may be the way for you to proceed to lose weight.

But there is a way of losing those pounds that will not cost you a penny and does not require arduous and exhausting exertion.

I know this to be true, because I discovered it myself.

Due to age and health problems, I am unable to perform any type of physical effort and training.

Having spent two months in a hospital due to major surgery followed by a month and a half of radiation treatments for cancer, my weight soared from 173 pounds to a whopping 191 pounds with a concurring expansion of my waistline.

Exercising is out of the question for me, because of my age and condition. However, I am fiercely determined to lose this weight and to get back to my former dimensions..

I don't have the willpower to diet. So I decided on another course of action. I decided that I am capable of fasting for a certain period of time. Therefore, one week ago, I began fasting every day at 5 pm. Prior to 5 pm, I eat normally and can indulge in any type of food that I like. After 5 pm, I do not eat any solid foods, but I can partake of any type of liquid refreshments. It is important to remember, however, that you should not gorge yourself with food prior to 5 p.m. You can eat enough to satisfy your hunger, but do not overdo it.

During this last seven days, my weight has declined from 191 pounds to 186 pounds and I can tell that my waistline has followed suit. I intend to continue this method of losing weight until I recapture my goal of 173 pounds.

Fasting in this manner takes a little bit of will power, but my determination to succeed, by far overcomes this is very slight sacrifice.

If you wish to lose weight, you might want to try this procedure. However, whatever route you take, I wish you Good luck.
