A hundred deaths I have known
Though my heart's still beating strong
A thousand tears silently cried
Searching a place where I belong
A hundred joys my heart has known
To balance off the pain
A thousand smiles I smile each year
Though the scars of loss remain
Reflective thoughts proclaim to me
That truly I am blessed
To share the love I've shared in life
With some of lifes very best
Perhaps this heart keeps beating
By Love's Will and not my own
The reason it keeps beating
The one who seeks me not yet known
A hundred lifetimes I have lived
Waiting for just one
Who's heart will beat in rythmn
Who's time will not be done
