kill you because you are hated by their country. It is their land you are on is all they know. Would you not do the same if they were here in the US invading us? And I am told by the VA to apply for benifits for what I have done. When we see all the time young men comming back from our present wars not getting care I can not do it. They deserve help and praise for doing what they do. And on this day all of us should stop and think of those in harms way.
Why do we do it? It can not be told in stories of war, it can not be told unless you have been there. Be it right or wrong we do it for love of country. Our fathers fought because of threats to our country. Our sons and daughters fight and die for what only you can answer in your hearts. Is it for oil or the profit of the rich who have more to gain from the wars. We now turn a blind eye to evil done to others to go after what? I have my feelings of why there are wars now but what are yours? No American should die or be mained for the profit of others. How many young men and women return with problems they can not handle and not get the care they need.
It is only in your heart that can answer why we go to war. For me it was all I knew to do growing up. For the love of country and to honor my father and brothers. I only hope that I had done so. A firm handshake from my father on comming home was his way of saying he was proud of me and that I was now a man in his eyes.
Remember that we can speak our minds in freedom wether it if for or against the wars because of those who have fought before and those who died so we have this freedom. Freedom will remain as long as we remember why we embrace it and feel we will fight and die to keep it.
