The key word in this question is inspiration. So, can different sacred text be inspired by God? Absolutely. I am at this very moment inspired by God to write this commentary. I have read and studied many different sacred texts and I believe that many of them are divinely inspired. I think the biggest controversy when it comes to such text, is not the question is it inspired by God, but is it the word of the Almighty Him/Her self. How many times have you heard that a certain text was written by the hand of God? How many times have you read something and just did not feel the hand of God in the writing? How many sacred texts have not been manipulated or changed by the human ego to obtain control of the masses? I believe that original text is inspiration directly from divine source, but I also believe that sacred text loses it's sacredness once it has been changed to serve an agenda that is not God-sourced.

We live in a time where technology and information is evolving and is accessible. One hundred years ago it would take years to obtain the knowledge that we today can have at the click of a mouse. We can decipher what we read and compare and see more into the truth than ever before in the history of humanity. We are able sort out many facts from fiction. We are able to see the divine inspiration in poetry, songs, as well as sacred text. We are able to start putting together the pieces to the puzzle. We are getting glimpses of the big picture. We are understanding the fact that God can be found within and is present all around us at all times. We are understanding that the very fact of our being, is inspired by God.

The word 'inspiration ' ultimately means 'in spirit'. When we are in spirit we are in God or God is moving within us to take action to be in our divinity. I can not even imagine that Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John were not inspired and in their divinity when they contributed to the Gospel. I can not imagine Mohammad, Abraham, or even Jesus not being inspired by the the divine love of their Creator. I think that we would all agree that they were definitely inspired by their heavanly Father.

In modern day I can list hundreds on top of hundreds of authors whom are inspired by their God to share their love and wisdom. Would this not be considered as sacred text? Sacred text does not have to be secular or belong to a religion. What one person finds or describes to be sacred text may be completely different from the next person. Does this make it not sacred or not inspired by God? I believe that if we look hard enough, we can see God's inspiration in every area of our life.

I love being inspired!
