Poetry: Passion

by Michael Janiec

Created on: November 10, 2008

Passion may inspire the tiresome to resign retire

Bathing them in a fountain

Where from their spirit dwells

It is not to look for what to believe

Just to believe all will be well

To look within

When others will look away

To cast off those words politely

While you hear them say:

"I conclude your feeding a dying fire"

Because passion has no form

Ageless and without judgement

It's an expression of the heart

And the senses are not more than servants

If their hearts are tainted

Their visions clouded

Allow them to look inside

Your example casts the light

Doubt entertains the truth

but only for a while

When duality dissolves

Every wish will be granted

But only if the seed of unconditional love is planted
