My Snowflake
I often sit and marvel at the handcrafted workmanship
of God that I see, just by sitting on a bench and opening my eyes...
my mind and my heart... to all the majestic beauty that he bestowed
upon this world... And I never realized how intertwined we were on
this canvas of life that God is painting... mixing creation... nature and
earth... With emotions... color and the elements... until I saw a
snowflake fall from heaven and land on my window pain... A tiny
work of art so beautifully detailed that you knew it was hand sculpted
by God and his angels... So pure and of such raw beauty... I could
feel my spirit awaken... and my eyes began to well... For in that
instance that very moment in time... I realized that God had made
a very special snowflake... but in the form of you... For every time I
see that child like twinkle in your eyes... that sparkle of wonderment...
awe... and of inner beauty... I realize that you are this hand painted
masterpiece of God...this unique blending of all his Splendor...
Grace and his Love, on this canvas of life... the second half of my
True North...For you are my breeze in the Fall...that helps the Autumn
leaf's dance across the grass... You are my raindrop in the Spring...
as you bring life to natures beauty... You are my ray of sunshine in
the Summer that brings warmth to everything I touch and see... But
most of all you are my Snowflake in the Winter... that puts a snowy
blanket of protection over my heart... so it stays warm... grows...
and is nurtured until it once again blossoms... stronger than before...
A Snowflake that is one of it's kind... individually different and unique
from any other... A phenomenon of God... You are a Snowflake of
love that will never melt... Yet somehow warms my very soul...
You are my Snowflake... And I love you...

The Spirit in the Fall
I saw her there basking in the fall
laughing in her own private pond
silky hair blue as a dawn full
by Savannah S.
The word has been overused
to the point that it is overlooked
and it in itself
is not beautiful
For beauty is unpredictable
it
What is beauty?
Is it silky skin, white as alabaster?
Or twinkling eyes like the morning star,
Is it well shaped mouth, red
Beauty is at the heart of all mankind
It is a smile that makes the eye sparkle
It is the love permeating from a caring
by Fida Abbott
Beauty can not be seen from the face
Beauty can not be valued by criteria
Beauty can be felt by your soul, your feeling, and
