SUN GODDESS
Upon Machu Picchu's altar high
Under blackened blue nightsky
Of fallen summer equinox,
and bloodstained, cold rocks
Lies Golden Goddess frozen
Awaiting, ancient warrior chosen
Strong with ashen spear
One sight of love so dear
Breaking heart, falling knee
To light upon her sea
Breathing life, deep, afar
Fire
Shooting stars
Freeing shadows
of truest
Golden hallows
Shattering force
Of saving cause
Shaking warrior
Splitting bone
Breaking heart
Of stone
Open wings of dove
Fly now, saving love
To enchanted forest
Mortal warrior quest
Gold shadows he releases
To dance amongst the breezes
Forever
And there
Under reddened skies
Fallen warrior lies
For now his love lives
Far away
Her journey on...
To light the day
