Italian meatloaf is not really that different than a traditional meatloaf. The recipe below is my version of regular meatloaf with a touch of Italian seasonings.
Ingredients
1 pound fresh ground beef
1 large sized onion (chopped)
3 cloves garlic (minced )
1 cup of unseasoned bread crumbs
1 Tablespoon of olive oil
1 egg (beaten)
2 Tablespoon of onion powder
2 Tablespoon of garlic powder
3 Tablespoons of Italian seasoning
2 Tablespoons of fresh basil
1/4 Tablespoon of parmesan cheese
2 Cups of spaghetti sauce
Preparation
Mix all the ingredients in a medium size mixing bowl. Setting 1 cup of the spaghetti sauce off to the side.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Shape the meatloaf to fit in the loaf pan and pour the remaining cup of spaghetti sauce over the top to add a little more flavor and bake for 50 minutes.
