All I feel is empty, beside the pain and grief.
There seems to be nothing there, no hope of any relief.
There is no way to try and hide all of my jealous fears.
I want to be with you, and only you my dear.
I ask and plead and beg, for you to come back home.
I can not stand another thought, of another day alone.
I may hear your voice through a phone line, every single day.
Yet there's nothing that can help me, from feeling just this way.
I see you in the stars and in the shadows on the moon,
all I want is to know though is that I will see you soon.
There is nothing in this world that can fix my aching heart
but the comfort of your touch in this suffocating dark.
The darkness of my troubles and the sorrow of my fears
will fade away quite suddenly, when I can see you through my tears.
