Poetry: Human understanding

by Timor Sceleris

Created on: November 09, 2008   Last Updated: November 25, 2008

All this time I attempt to understand mankind

Looking into their eyes nothing is all I ever find.

They are the unclean and stained

I see them all as disdained.

Humans only love themselves

Viewing their bodies as holy grails,

I laugh as their logic fails

Thinking themselves better than things with tails.

Adorning themselves in animal attire,

Extenction is is growing stronger

Soon those creature will be no longer,

Although thier loss is not dire.

Humans purge the world of all that is good,

Who would stop them if they could?

I fear it may already be too late,

Why do humans bring such a horrible fate?
