Poetry: No regrets

Torn pages

Where did we go wrong?

In which exit was the wrong turn

Looking through the pages that our story has

I'm looking for the chapter where answers lie

Where in our lives was the shadow that send us off?

Was it someone else that took us out of hope?

As we were too happy for those around

And our love made them feel their hell in calm

I must find the chapter where the wind of love started to fade

Our greed to help everyone took our love from our heats in rage

I thought our love would never find us in time

So with a last breath I'm sending this letter from hell

We found our selves in a desert

Too dry to give each other any love

Now I see that in this desert you are the only one

That the now soaks in hopes soul I care for

Now that we have seen our love

Where the ages were torn

I implore for you and your sweet love for me

Let's put those pages where they really belong

Let's write new pages of life

With the story that from the beginning

We should have had in our hearts ...
