Memories
I've gone over it a million times
written almost every rhyme
no words can take away this guilt
conceal the pain that I have built
ashamed I am that I hurt you
I
know you think that its not true
knowing now that I'm to blame
I dare not lift my head in shame
had I opened my eyes to see
the beauty I had in front of me
Oh, how I long for yesterday
long to take this pain away
never again, I'd let you go
but idle dreams are all I know
dreams so great, until I wake
to once again see my mistake
I remember your eyes
I remember being around you
I was filled with butterflies
I remember your smile
I remember your eyes
I remember being around you
I was filled with butterflies
now all I feel, is this vast emptiness
and all I know, its you I'll always miss!
