I will walk up to you
even though I hang my head,
and want to hide behind the backs
of everyone and everything.
Speak, Speak I can find the words
if I try.
Your brown eyes, your innocent look
revives my first love found,
the feeling always waiting
inside me,
waiting like a thirst.
Your hands holding the pencil
signing your name.
I wish the paper
was my body.
Your attention I want on me.
Your brown eyes, your innocent look.
I am just a nobody
comfortable in my skin
but compared to you.
I'm not the shiny bling
you probably want on your arm.
Your brown eyes, your innocent look
makes me burn,
always waiting inside me,
waiting like a thirst.
I always shy away
from men I want.
I asked if you'd like to have coffee
I drink tea.
You looked at me like I was blue
And said sure when I am done
Your brown eyes, your innocent look
revives feelings of my first love,
wanting you
makes me want to burst.
Hopefull now because
I opened up to you
we can mix our feelings
like the air the fills
a room from floor
to ceiling.
