The Comfort of Weakness
My weakness is my health; I'm always tired
My weakness is my mind; it won't stop bothering me
I am aware, but incapable
I ask for help because I cannot help
I am indifferent and I am satisfied
There are things you might think of me
All negatives, but most likely true
I avoid laughing; it takes too much energy
Comfort, nothingness, weakness
I use those words together as if they relate
My head hangs low when I speak
The thought of sleep weighs down my eyelids
I fantasize about sleep when I am awake
Sleep is time well spent
I am in love with sleep
I am weakness

Poetry: Weakness
Don’t you see me here?
Can’t you see my scars?
Why don’t you see it?
Do you not want to face it?
Or are
These things I feel I've never felt before,
Thought I'd been through it all,
took me by surprise the one feeling I can't
handle
The chair breaks from weathered material
just like my heart.
The fibers can't hold
the heavy weight of my love.
I hear a voice,
Weakness is a terrible thing
Like a Dove with a broken wing
I cannot fly or get any help
No one will ever know the pain
by Nan Mynatt
Was A Slave and Now I am Free!
Yielding to the weakness
No visible chains. No visible bondage! I am bound by the evils
