1. Because of his age he would be almost the oldest man to ever be elected president. I don't think most of the White House is handicapped accessible.
2. You would think an entire career as a naval officer, combat action, prisoner of war status and 20 years in Congress would make McCain better qualified. The way I figure it he has to be suffering from such a bad case of posttraumatic stress disorder that in a time of stress he could have flashbacks, zone out, or have his judgment affected. Maybe that's why he selected Gov. Sarah Palin.
3. Sen. McCain is well-known for his bipartisan activities in Congress. His best friend and closest colleague is democratic Sen. Joe Lieberman. His name is on different bills with some of the most liberal Democrats, such as McCain-Feingold. So if I'm going to vote for a Democrat, I decided to vote for one who had a D after his name on the election ballot.
4. If a man running for president doesn't even know how many houses he owns, how is he going to keep track of all the information that will be thrown at him as president of the United States?
5. You can judge a man by his past associations and actions. Sen. McCain demonstrated extremely poor judgment in some of his personnel decisions. A special especially in his choice of speechwriter. If he were to call me his dear friend one more time, I would have shot a hole through the television. That is, if the government were to allow me to keep a gun.
6. How can we vote for a man who is such a poor debater? I mean, how could he stand up to the logic of the president of Iran or the dear leader of North Korea? It was so obvious the way Sen. McCain would point out flaws in Obama's arguments or policies. McCain was clearly irrational, almost delusional trying to tie Obama to the activities and beliefs of his spiritual advisor and closest associates. It's almost as if McCain was saying that "you can judge a man by the company he keeps." Whatever happened to focusing on the issues?
7. It was obvious from the debates that there was no reason to vote for John McCain. I lost count after the 15th time President-elect Obama said, "I agree with Sen. McCain" or "I happen to agree with Sen. McCain on that point" or "Sen. McCain and I agree on that". If President-elect Obama has the same philosophy as Sen. McCain, the same position on the issues, then why vote for Sen. McCain? We'll get the same policies by electing Mr. Obama.
8. I did not vote for John McCain because he is a hypocrite. Everyone knows that
