I lost about 10 pounds in 2 weeks. I had a wedding to go to in 2 months and needed to lose weight fast. So when I took this approach to lose weight I was surprised. Now it may not be the healthiest way, so you have to remember to stay in control.
Firstly, your mind needs to have the right will power to do this, so start with being mentally ready. Your mind needs to be at pressure to lose weight either by you, your family or whoever. Perfect time for motivation.
(My motivation was my sister's wedding - wanted to fit into my outfits, plus my grandmother had high expectations of me being slim)
Once you've programmed your mental side, it's tme to work on the physical. Start with eating vegetables only, cutting out everything else. Do this for about a week or two. Drink more of, and only water.
(This strategy fools your metabolism)
Now, you're ready to starve. Yes, starve. Chances are if you're fed up of eating nothing but vegetables then your body shouldn't have much issue with starving. HOWEVER, if you get really hungry eat something healthy, but only a little bit, and eat it slowly.
Walking is also part of the first step so start doing that on a regular basis. You'll notice a huge difference.
I discovered this way through trial and error, and while it may not be healthy, it did work. I lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks. Maybe you can lose more. Remember, there is no same answer for everyone looking to lose weight, but things like junk food and sitting around watching TV definitely do not contribute to weight loss. So if this way works, good for you.
